Carhartt was founded in 1889 in Detroit, Michigan, and is one of the oldest, running brands in the city. Carhartt was founded for the working individual and creates sturdy clothing. The company worked through many hardships like World War I and II, the 1929 stock market crash, and the president of the company’s death.
