New York City is a metropolitan paradise, well-known for its place in the fashion industry. NYC leaves room for a little bit of everything when it comes to personal style, but in general, you can often distinguish the fashion of a New Yorker from that of someone on say, the West coast. All in all, New York womenswear can be summed up as this: mature, timeless, and remarkable. It’s never too flashy, but it’s also not the typical fashion that you’ll see anywhere else. So much of style in NYC for women comes down to taking a classic outfit or classic piece of clothing, and adding your own flare. Chicness and functionality are implemented into most of the city’s style, and it ties in perfectly with the culture of New York City.
