Blazers: Back to Business

While blazers are well-established as an essential part of a businessman’s closet, designers seem to have taken a different approach in recent years. Fun styles such as cropped blazers, blazer dresses, and applique have given new purpose to blazers for the fashion-forward individual, and women in general.

I’m a big fan of this blazer resurgence since it’s not a piece of clothing I would normally purchase considering I previously viewed them as more of a masculine item. Don’t get me wrong, there is still so much power in a more traditional blazer, but there’s something extra special about the clashing of business and fun that makes these unique rompers look so chic.

Here is a roundup of some of our favorite funky twists on blazers—pair with a skirt or perfectly fitted pants, and you’ll be ready to take on the world!
