Trucker Hats: Back Like They Never Left

You don't have to drive a semi to partake in the resurgence of the trucker hat trend.  The trucker hat was an early 2000s style staple popularized by musicians and celebs like Jay Z, Pharrell, and Gwen Stefani.

Before becoming beloved headwear of the rich and famous, these hats were initially marketed towards truck drivers and farmers that enjoyed the breathability of the cap's mesh backing. Brands such as Von Dutch and Gucci revamped these hats by replacing the trucking company’s logos with theirs.

Like everything in fashion, what is old, becomes new again. Stars like Rihanna, Justin Bieber, and Miley Cyrus often rock this early aughts accessory; they’ve floated across the runway at this year's fashion week on Louis Vuitton models; and brands like Mowalola, Beepy Bella, and Denim Tears sell trucker hat merch.

Don't let the trucker hat trend leave you in the dust.
