The innovative visions of designers were brought to life at New York Fashion Week in February. Lets take a look back to see some of the show’s favorite looks.
Rodarte
Effortlessly timeless. Rodarte expressed their dark side at NYFW with their new collection. Including black gowns seen as minimalistic statement pieces, with accompanying overlined black eye makeup, this was a show Wednesday Adams would definitely take interest to. Colin Locascio
Playfully chic, Colin Locascio brought their joyful collection for all to see at NYFW, leaving their unique mark. With no piece being the same, the designer included a variation of abstracting materials to the runway; from knitwear, feathers, sequins to denim. Every look held its very own purpose. NOLO
Individually different, NOLO represented their show with no look being the same. From oversized puffer jackets to cropped shirts and cargo cords, this show gave its own futuristic effect. There was an array of male and female pieces, with most styles being unisex designs. Watch the show here from Sunday 12th February.
Jason Wu Collection
With a touch of nature, Jason Wu’s collection was displayed along the runway which was filled with plants and flowers. The sleek and simplistic styles expressed class as the models were seen with slick back hair styles, keeping all the attention on the garment being worn - no distractions. Tanner Fletcher
Exclusive to Tanner Fletcher, their vibrant unisex collection expressed joy in their ‘slumber party’ setting. From double denim to velvet midi dresses, this collection was for everyone and anyone. Watch the show here from Monday 13th February.
Tory Burch
Giving that work-wear feel, Tory Burch brought their refreshing vision to the runway. Displaying comfort and class, the designer had a mix of juxtaposing colours on their garments, with each look paired with their signature handbag. Watch the show here from Monday 13th February.
