Trends to Watch Spring 2021

BUTTER YELLOW

We’ve seen the color yellow make a comeback in a lot of different ways in past seasons whether it be neons or pastels. This new rich buttery shade of yellow has been everywhere and I’m not mad at it. Just in time for spring, this color is so versatile and will pair so well with everything in your spring wardrobe.

SPRING LEATHERS

Leather pants have always been a go-to for achieving the perfect street style look. What better way to remix this trend than to add fun pops of color. Personally loving this look in vibrant shades of blue and green, but you really can’t go wrong.

CHUNKY RINGS

Rather than dainty jewelry that we’re used to seeing in fashion, chunky rings have become a popular choice for this season. Several models and influencers have been seen wearing chunky ring styles from La Manso; others have tried making clay rings themselves.

BUBBLEGUM PINK

Along with other bold colors that have been popping up, like mocha browns and tangerine/orange, bubblegum pink has been showing up across different designers. Wearing bubblegum pink is sure to make you feel like the main character, extra points for wearing pink on Wednesday.

ROMANTIC

Isabel Marant’s Spring/Summer 2021 collection was full of romantic looks with a dreamy color scheme along with a touch of spunk with some metallic looks. This combo of romantic and disco seems to be a theme to watch for this spring; think billowy sleeves and dainty florals.

SHOWING SKIN

Of course, showing skin is always an option with a flirty mini skirt or open back, but now we’re seeing more examples of cutouts in fashion. One example of this trend is the “g-string” pant offering flattering lines and an alternative waistline for pants. Another example of this is the popularity of an open and low cut back, perfect for warmer spring days.
