Detroit

Design by Jersey Benjamin

Detroit, the “Motor City,” is where Henry Ford’s automobile assembly line originated. It is also the birthplace of Motown Records, founded in 1959, which soon became one of the most influential record companies and successful black-owned businesses. This city is filled with art, music, and sports making it a great place to visit. Here are a few must-stop shops for a future trip.
