Paris Haute Couture Week Recap

As the Paris Haute Couture Week has come to an end, we can now reflect on the true art that was displayed from all of the designers. Here are some of our favourite shows:


Giambattista Valli

The ultimate look. Giambattista Valli gave an extravagant show, involving short cocktail dresses, to long evening gowns. The elegant collection displayed the perfect eye-catching spring/summers look for 2023. Traditional pastel colours accompanied with large diamond earrings, the runway was filled with joy as the designers work was there for all to see. Iris Van Herpen

The perfect example of intricate detailing. Iris Van Herpen demonstrated their effortless ‘fairy-tale’ looks in water, showing how moveable the material is. The collection was a creation of corset bodies with liquified lace. Click here to watch the show from the 23rd January.


Chanel

Sophisticated and feminine. Chanel displayed there unique style in their spring/summer collection, with a variation of blazer dresses and co-ords. Click here to watch the show from the 24th of January, and see their signature detailing.


Jean Paul Gaultier

Fitted and flattering. Jean Paul Gaultier shared their collection of tailored suits and garments, using juxtaposing colours and materials. The designer displayed their smart-wear with purpose during their show at Paris Haute Couture Week. Click here to watch the show from the 25th of January.


Aelis

A Gatsby effect. Aelis displayed their effortless occasion pieces, with a variation of embellished long gowns and mini dresses. Involving neutral colours and silk, the designer demonstrated their elegant collection. Click here to watch the show from the 26th of January.
