Designer Brands Getting into Homeware

The goal of a brand is to promote their purpose and ideas using various products such as clothing and accessories, but homeware can also be a way for designers to expand their brand as well. Not only do designer brands create clothing you see on the internet, but they also dabble in furniture and décor as well. By doing this, it is like adding more aspects within a brand’s universe; whether it is Yves Saint Laurent or Gucci— it definitely increases a brand’s longevity and legacy.

Designer brands venturing into homeware shows critics and consumers that they are versatile in what they do, and that’s to convey a style and/or message. Here are some selected picks that really show off each brands unique style:


High-End Brands’ Homeware

Louis Vuitton

Anemona Table MM

The Milan-based studio, Atelier Biagetti, collaborated with Louis Vuitton to bring us a whimsical yet minimalistic design of a table; sculpted to resemble a sea anemone— hence why the name of this table sounds familiar.


Versace

Versace takes its classic logo and sculpts it into a pristine, three-dimensional vase. With precise molding and an eye-catching color, you’ll definitely add a little sophistication to your flowers.

Known for his minimalistic designs, Rick Owens is no stranger to creating homeware. This stool uses Owens’ aesthetic and incorporates an authentic horn of a stag. There are different variations of this stool, with different shaped horns and colored plywood.


Celine

The Los Angeles-based brand, Brain Dead, shows people that not only clothing can evince their ideals, but homeware can as well. Using the brand’s logo as a base, this clock is very unique in its design and nature.


Palm Angels

Palm Angels showcases their own collection of homeware by constructing various items etched with their logo. They also offer two other colors of this cup, black and white. Simple yet effective; you can’t go wrong with this cup.


Billionaire Boys Club

PW Incense Chamber

The streetwear label, Billionaire Boys Club (BBC) exhibits this incense chamber engrained with Pharrell Williams’s initials, who is also the founder of this brand. This ceramic chamber is perfect for your relaxation, with four carved holes in each of the fingertips for your incense sticks.
