So it’s no surprise that OTTE is located in the heart of this quaint neighborhood. Founded in 1999 in Williamsburg, Otte is a high-end fashion boutique catered to the modern woman who isn’t afraid to show her individuality through clothing.
Otte separates itself from other boutiques by creating a unique shopping experience for women with distinct styles and cultivating a luxurious atmosphere with a selection of chic and trendy brands. The boutique offers handpicked clothes, shoes, and jewelry tailored to an elegant yet daring aesthetic. The name OTTE derives from the Korean word “ott” meaning clothing, paying tribute to its founder.
Owner Bio
Kay Lee, founder of Otte, curates a wide variety of pieces for each store. As a graduate from Parsons with a degree in fashion design her eye for clothing is impeccable and innovative. She is inspired by her travels abroad, offering unique garments to the customer base. She aims to highlight young upcoming designers in addition to established designers, allowing art and fashion to coexist in each store.
Each store is beautifully illuminated with natural light due to the large floor-to-ceiling windows. With warm tone over head lighting the store radiates with a selection of both high-end and contemporary designs.
